sailing for the Dardanelles…

Posted: April 14, 2015 by saraherhodes in 1915

Today we were supposed to have sailed for the Dardanelles. We were to have gone on Saturday, and then Wednesday, and now…………..

The Colonel went up there again last night. We are only allowed to write two letters of one sheet each now. I am enclosing a few films. It was funny about this room of ours. Yesterday morning we were all tossed out, lock, stock, and barrel. An hour after we were all back again with all our stuff stacked up. I suppose we will be turned out again today or tomorrow, anyway, who cares?

Have just a chance of getting this through.

Goodbye,

LANCE.
