funeral

We had our first funeral on board yesterday.  One of the W.A. men died of pneumonia yesterday afternoon.   He was brought on board pretty bad in Fremantle.  The poor fellow put up a plucky fight for his life, but circumstances prevailed.  At 5p.m. we pulled out of the line, and he was buried with military honours.
